How To Calculate Numbers

If you want to work out someone's Numbers, here are the calculations you need.

1. CALCULATING THE LIFE PATH NUMBER

Add the total date of birth (day + month + year), then if it is more than one digit, break it down to a single digit. For example:

DAY	12
MONTH	04
YEAR	1962
	-----
	1978	= 1 + 9 + 7 + 8 = 25 = 2 + 5 = 7

If the total date of birth breaks down to a single digit, then leave it as it is.
For example:

DAY	27
MONTH	11
YEAR	1973
	-----
	2011	= 2 + 0 + 1 + 1 = 4

Only the numbers 11 and 22 are never broken down to a single digit.
They will always remain as 11 and 22. For example:

DAY	22
MONTH	09
YEAR	1944
	-----
	1975	= 1 + 9 + 7 + 5 = 22

2. CALCULATING THE PERSONAL YEAR NUMBER

Personal Years run from 1 to 9 then start again. They are calculated by adding all the numbers in the current year to the persons' day and month of birth then breaking down to a single digit. For example:

DAY OF BIRTH	21
MONTH OF BIRTH	03
CURRENT YEAR	2008
	-----
	2032	= 2 + 0 + 3 + 2 = 7

So, someone born on March 21st would be in a 7 Personal Year in 2008 and therefore an 8 Personal year in 2009, a 9 Personal Year in 2010 and a 1 Personal Year in 2011.

3. CALCULATING THE HEART NUMBER

Using the 'Numbers To Letter Key' below, take all the vowels from the full name given at birth - A, E, I, O, U and the Y. Add these from each name together and then reduce to a single digit by adding the digits together (unless an 11 or 22 is reached first, in which case leave it alone). Do this for all names and then combine the total of all names. Finally, reduce the total to a single digit.

4. CALCULATING THE EXPRESSION NUMBER

Using the 'Numbers To Letter Key' below, take all the letters together (not the vowels) from the full name given at birth. Add these together, then reduce to a single digit (unless an 11 or 22 is reached first, in which case leave it alone).

NOTE: Each name should be added together separately and then the value for the name added to the other names to get the correct total.

      6     +     5     +     7     = 18 (1+ 8) = 9

EXPRESSION NUMBER:

   (4+5+3)           (5+2+8+5)         (1+2+9+6+6+9+4)

    (1+2=3)            (2+0=2)               (3+7=10=1+0=1)

Therefore:
      3 +                2 +                  1  =  6

5. CALCULATING THE BIRTHDAY NUMBER

The Birhday Number involves no calculation as it is simply the birthday (i.e. 1-31). For example, someone born on the 4th of the month has a Birthday Number of 4, someone born on the 12th of the month has a Birthday Number of 12 and so on.
