What Do Birth Charts Reveal?

Personality, spirit, temperament, creativity, intelligence, organizational skills, originality, courage, affections, emotional stability, ambitions, desires, maternal and paternal instinct, potential for wealth, generosity, sensitivity, health, activity, sociability, the list goes on and on.

We are multifaceted creatures, a mix of contradictory elements that make up the sum of who we are. Light and dark, ying and yang, positive and negative, ‘me and my shadow’. The Birth Chart deals with the whole of us, not just the pretty parts we are happy to acknowledge but also those so called 'dark' parts we try to hide away or refuse to admit even exist. It helps us to understand and accept the person we really are, revealing every element of our character, laying bear all the ingredients of our personality.

Understanding who we are allows us to see, without judgment, all of our behavioral patterns, our strengths and gifts and our weaknesses and deficiencies. Armed with this information we can spend less energy trying to change ourselves to fit society’s demands and more energy utilizing our natural and perfect qualities.

It is human nature to accept our good points without a moment’s hesitation, whereas we often disown or are completely oblivious to our so-called bad ones. However, to truly understand ourselves and be better equipped to develop successful relationships, we need to know and allow every aspect. When we do so, we create a loving space for ourselves and, automatically, a loving space for others. Simply recognizing the truth of who we are, facilitates change and liberates us to love freely.

The truth shall set us free.

May we offer this invitation. If you find yourself disagreeing with, laughing off or reacting emotionally to any of the 'negative' information about you in your Birth Chart or any of the other reports, don't dismiss it. Have the courage to look at yourself and be honest about whether those aspects of your character do actually exist. Any kind of reaction is normally a sure sign that you have 'hit a nerve', but if you can be brave enough to look beyond your automatic defense mechanisms you will find enormous benefit and growth in the recognition. This is an opportunity to be truthful with yourself and experience the spiritual evolution which that brings.
